Terms of service

Last updated October 15, 2026

These terms apply to your use of Empeiro, including the website and the service ("Empeiro", "we", "us"). By using Empeiro you agree to them. If you use it for an organization, you agree on that organization's behalf and confirm you may do so.

Early access

Empeiro is in early access. Features may change, be added or be removed, and the service may sometimes be unavailable while we improve it. Early access is free. We'll give early-access organizations notice before paid plans begin, and nobody is charged without agreeing to a price first.

Your organization's accounts

Your AI provider

The assistants are optional. If your organization connects an AI provider for them, they run on it, with your organization's own key and account. Your use of that provider is under its own terms and billing, between your organization and the provider. Assistants can be wrong: their replies are suggestions in a conversation your agents can see and take over at any time, and the "virtual agent" tag, when your organization keeps it on (the default), shows when an assistant, not a person, is writing.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Empeiro to:

We may suspend an organization that does these things, after warning it where we reasonably can.

Your content

Your tickets, conversations, articles and assets stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run Empeiro for you. Once your organization connects Microsoft 365, your tickets are kept in your own SharePoint lists. You can export your asset list at any time.

Payment

When paid plans begin, prices, billing periods and how to cancel will be shown before you buy. Plans are priced by how many people answer tickets, never per requester.

Ending your use

You can stop using Empeiro at any time; if you connected Microsoft 365, your administrator can remove its access in Microsoft Entra, and we'll delete what we hold for your organization on request (see the privacy policy). We may end the service for an organization that breaks these terms. If we ever stop offering Empeiro, we'll give at least 30 days' notice.

Warranties and liability

We work hard to keep Empeiro reliable and accurate, but it's provided "as is". We can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we aren't responsible for services you connect, such as Microsoft 365, or your AI provider. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell organizations using Empeiro by email before the change takes effect.
